Owen and Luke: So many more changes

Wow time really does fly!! On November 1, 2010 we welcomed Luke Martin into the world. He is such a good baby and Owen is an amazing big brother. About 2 weeks after Luke's birth I went into the ER for some problems I was having breathing. Turned out I had a pulmonary embolism and a blood clot in my leg. It was a 4 day stay in the hospital. It was very scary and hard being away from my young baby. But we got through it and are still dealing with it now but slowly getting better. Luke is now almost 5 months now. He is a good little boy who loves to smile and play. He sleeps through the night and just started eating cereal. His favorite play toy is his brother. Luke is constantly following Owen with his eyes as Owen walks around the room. Owen is 3 now and an amazing big brother. He constantly wants to hold Luke and is always playing with him and talking to him. He talks to him in the funny baby voice, which makes me nervous...I hope that's not how I sound when I talk to Luke. I couldn't ask for more in how Owen deals with Luke. I hope it continues!! Owen is now taking a gymnastics class. He loves it. Also, I took Owen to the big rodeo that is here in Tucson and bought him a cowboy hat. We now have a full fledged cowboy on our hands. He loves wearing his hat and boots and wears them everywhere.

I went back to work the end of January and put my two weeks notice in at my job. It was the easiest hardest decision I've ever made. I love my job, but really wanted to be with my family. Now that I'm not working weekends any more it definitely gives us more time to do things as a family and boy we are definitely busy. Pretty much every weekend has been filled with some sort of event since I quit. I think now we will start slowing down a little bit. Here are some pictures from the last couple months.
