Big Changes

I'm horrible at updating things that are happening, but things have been very crazy. Our biggest upcoming change is that in November not only will Owen be 3 but he will have a little brother or sister. He's very excited about the baby in mommy's tummy. So now it begins of trying to fit another person in our home. Plenty of love but space is slowly escaping! Owen is such a big boy it scares me how fast he is growing. His loves: trains, the Incredibles (the movie), flags (which for some crazy reason he calls fair fairs??), swimming, and running is still his one mode of transportation. Now with mommy being pregnant makes it a tiny more difficult. This past Memorial Day we took Owen to Winslow, AZ to visit a friend of Duane's. Yes we were the touristy group that "stood on the corner of Winslow, AZ" and it was such a fine site to see! he he he. Anyways, I couldn't believe it but Owen got on a horse. It took him awhile to watch his little friend Olivia do it but eventually he got on and they walked them around. I was so proud. So now as the summer continues to roll on we try to keep cool. We will spend a lot of time at the pool. Owen is becoming quite the little swimmer. We bought him a vest now so that he can swim a little on his own. He LOVES it and (not to toot my horn, takes after his mommy) and is pretty good at it too. Here are some pictures from the last couple months. We stayed in Winslow at an old hotel called La Posada. It is right on the train tracks. Two trains went by that night before we went to bed. Owen loved the trains going by. This is Owen saying "choo choo".
